Spark

Creative practice kit for emerging designers and design students with analogue creative activities to help you overcome burnout and creative block and feed your ongoing inspiration. It’s all hands-on encouraging experimentation, exploring new directions, leveraging happy accidents and simply enjoying the creative process. You'll have everything you need to cultivate your own creative practice (and have fun doing it!)

Juxtaposition underpins the visual approach to Spark. This is rooted in research on the psychology of inspiration—more specifically, the idea that putting things together in unexpected ways can be beneficial for sparking creativity. The visual mashups, created by blending archival book imagery, supports this idea. Thus, the identity can incite curiosity and spark inspiration as much as the written content.
